Whether you use Lotus Notes or not, you are likely to have some opinions about email. IBM is redesigning the Notes Client and is putting significant emphasis on the user experience (yay!). Dr. Mary Beth Raven is the lead designer on this effort, and she is doing her best to cast a wide net of feedback with her blog. Take a look and express your opinions – she'll be greatful you did, and if you use the Notes client, hopefully so will you.

I officially hit 2500 photos on flickr this past weekend. It's not a flickr record, but it certainly is a big number. Thank you flickr!

Who knew it could be this difficult to sell an extra Radiohead ticket June 2, 2006

So, Mike and I bought as many tickets as we could when the Radiohead tickets came out for sale. We ended up with 4 – three for Sunday night and one for Monday night. No pairs, all separates. We figured we could find friends who wanted to go or worst case sell them on eBay or Craigslist. Well, friends already either had tickets or didn't want to go, so we both went the eBay route. Mine got 1 bid, Mike's got none. My 1 bidder *never paid* and never replied to my 7 emails telling him he needed to pay!! So Mike and I both posted our tickets on Craigslist. We both found buyers quickly, as we are selling the tickets for the face value – the $57.50 it cost us to buy them with all the stinking Ticketmaster fees. So Mike's buyer bails out on him just before they were to meet today, and my buyer never replies to my email asking her to use Paypal. Now Mike and I are both onto buyers #2 and #3. Hopefully things will work out better this time around, though I am losing hope. I guess people don't trust the whole e-ticket thing? Maybe they are afraid I sold the ticket to 50 different people and that they are going to get rejected at the door? I don't know, but at least they would have the courtesy to reply to the emails with a respectable "I decline". What happened to our manners?
